High level coating
Sky-Access BV was awarded the contract for maintenance and coating work at De Hoftoren in The Hague by VolkerWessels Vastgoedbeheer (part of HOMIJ Technical Installations BV).
Because of its close proximity to the coast, and the salty air that comes with that position, Sky-Access advised a maritime coating (by JOTUN) rather then the regular coating that was used during the construction. This to ensure the best possible protection against the elements.
De Hoftoren is a 140 meter high building housing the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. With its prominent position in the city, right next to the central station in The Hague, it is also a high profile job. A team of Sky-Access technicians are working on the steel construction at the very top of the building.
The estimated amount of rope access hours are 14.000 hours in total.
